ADER 6.3.13 Project Objectives

Smart viticulture based on IoT techniques - a premise for managing climate change.

Main Goal

Development of a real-time monitoring system for vineyard components (climate, topography, soil, grapevine plant, diseases, and pests) and the use of advanced data processing and modeling techniques (Artificial Intelligence) to help viticulturists make informed decisions based on the provided information.

01
📡

Real-Time Monitoring

Collecting data on climate, topography, soil, and plant health status (diseases and pests) directly from the vineyards.

02
🧠

Advanced Processing

Using data processing and modeling techniques based on Artificial Intelligence for predictive analysis.

03
📊

Decision Support

A visual platform that helps viticulturists make informed and rapid decisions based on system-processed data.

Activity Calendar

Phase 1

Evaluation of phenophases and grape maturation under climate change conditions in vineyards, and conceptual definition of the IoT-AI system, use cases, and monitoring system requirements.

Phase 2

Monitoring the efficiency of applied works in vineyards and measures for disease and pest control through the IoT-AI system, comprising hardware, software, and AI predictive analysis algorithms designed and developed for precision viticulture.

Phase 3

Evaluation and improvement of software components and AI predictive analysis algorithms developed for precision viticulture to increase the efficiency of viticultural technologies used.

Phase 4

Integration and experimental evaluation of the final system for precision viticulture in vineyards in Romania.
